Police issue update after missing woman found dead at house

The death of a missing woman whose body was found in a house in Warrington is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.

The body of the woman was discovered at a property on Folly Lane, north of the town centre, by police shortly after 9.30am on Wednesday morning (January 17).

Cheshire Police said she had been reported missing on Tuesday night. A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.
