A total of 14 flights were cancelled at Manchester Airport due to strong winds in Storm Isha, a spokesperson confirmed. The flights were cancelled last night (Sunday) and into the early hours of this morning as the fierce storm swept across the entire country and brought gale force winds of up to 90mph and heavy rain.
Most of the cancelled flights from Manchester were on Loganair domestic routes, the Manchester Evening News understands, while some Ryanair services were also cancelled.
Today (Monday), there is not expected to be any further disruption at Manchester Airport due to the storm, the spokesperson added.
