Police cordon off A6 after 'more than 20 windows smashed' at building near Stockport College

'More than 20 windows were smashed' at a building near to Stockport College in an 'anti-social behaviour incident'. Police were called to the scene of the incident on the A6 Wellington Road South earlier this afternoon (Tuesday).

A stretch of the road was cordoned off near to the main college campus. Tactical Aid Unit officers were pictured on the scene.

Pictures show a derelict building with 'at least 20' windows smashed or partly shattered. It has not yet been confirmed whether any arrests have been made. A stretch of the road remains closed off near the junction with Union Street while a clean-up is carried out.
