Piers Morgan has called Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp a "graceless sore loser" and a "numpty" after he stormed out of a TV interview following his team's FA Cup quarter-final loss to Manchester United.

Liverpool lost 4-3 in a thrilling match, with Amad scoring the winning goal for United in the 122nd minute. Klopp was visibly upset during a post-match interview with Viaplay Sweden at Old Trafford, and snapped back at a question about the Reds lack of intensity. "It's a bit of a stupid question.

If you see us often, you can ask us the other times why we have so much energy," the German manager complained. "I don't know how many games we've had recently and how many Manchester United have had.

This is sport. I am very disappointed by that question, but you thought it was wise." When asked if the number of games his players have played this season affected their performance, Klopp hit back while walking out of the interview area.
