Philippe Clement faces a Rangers squad that is "massively overloaded" in a key area of the pitch, with one star being almost forgotten about.
The Belgian will want to stamp his own look on the bloated Ibrox cohort come the January transfer window, and he'll be aided by a former ally in new director of football recruitment Nils Koppen who arrives with a strong pedigree from PSV.
Clement will no doubt work to right a few wrongs from predecessor Michael Beale's varied summer signings, but former Rangers star Craig Moore says midfielder Kieran Dowell is one of the names that could be left by the wayside after his long stint out injured.
Clement has chopped and changed his eleven since arriving and admitted Dowell is working hard to recover, but his only featured for five minutes against Dundee under the Belgian in a first outing since August.
