Peter Schmeichel has questioned Erik ten Hag's openness to selling Scott McTominay over the summer after the midfielder's late brace against Brentford on Saturday.

Manchester United arrested their concerning slump with a dramatic win at Old Trafford, coming from behind in added time to beat Brentford 2-1.

Mathias Jensen gave Thomas Frank's side a first-half lead and all three points looked set to head south as the 90 minutes came up.

But McTominay, who only came on in the 87th minute, bagged a dramatic brace in added time to turn the game on its head. The 26-year-old's winner came after Harry Maguire's knockdown and both players were up for sale all summer - a decision Schmeichel has criticised.
