Clare goalscorer Peter Duggan is targeting two more wins in the Munster hurrling round-robin phase after the Banner got their campaign back on track with a one-point win over All-Ireland champions Limerick at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday evening.Following last Sunday's opening-round defeat against Tipperary in Ennis, the pressure was on Brian Lohan's to get something tangible in this mid-west derby.
That they did, with Duggan's green flag in the second period helping them to a 1-24 to 2-20 victory.The Banner half-foward, while delighted with the performance, is now hoping he and his colleagues can kick on with games to come against Cork and Waterford."We wanted to go out and prove to ourselves that we weren't as bad as we performed last week," he told RTÉ Sport afterwards."We performed well; we have two points but two points won't get us anywhere.
