Kolo Toure has praised Pep Guardiola for keeping Erling Haaland 'hungry' amid comparisons to Thierry Henry. Haaland netted his 46th and 47th goals of the season in Saturday's 3-1 Premier League win over Leicester City, following on from John Stones' brilliant volley.
The Norwegian slotted home from the spot after Wilfred Ndidi handled Jack Grealish's cross, before he latched onto Kevin De Bruyne's inch-perfect through ball to dink over Daniel Iversen for his second.
Guardiola decided to bring his striker off at half-time despite being on a hat-trick, with Wednesday's crucial Champions League quarter-final second leg at Bayern Munich in mind.
It was not the first time he has made such a decision, with Haaland having now been replaced six times when on a hat-trick and once when on five goals.
