Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez appeared to get into a heated argument as the final whistle blew for their fixture at the Etihad Stadium.
Reds' manager Jurgen Klopp could be seen pulling Nunez - who had been substituted later on in the Premier League clash - away from the confrontation, and the manager had his hand to Nunez's mouth at one point.
Several coaches from both clubs became involved as they tried to calm the situation down. It's not clear what triggered the flashpoint, and it's likely that the two managers will be asked about it in the post-match press conferences this afternoon. "Yes, sometimes we missed the last pass or last shot but we had deflections and typical things so I think it’s a big compliment to the way we work."
