Former Hearts boss Paulo Sergio threatened to rip a fan’s “eyes out” in an angry confrontation. The Portuguese, cow managing Portimonense in his homeland.

The Primeira Liga outfit have now lost four in a row after a late defeat to Vizela. Reduced to ten men after just 20 minutes, Sergio’s men looked to have clung on for a goalless draw, only to concede in the 94th minute.

The result left them 14th in the table ahead of playing Porto, who beat them 7-0 the last time the slides met. One fan’s shouts towards Sergio had obviously irked the Tynecastle hero, who had had enough by the time the full time whistle went and made a beeline to give him a piece of his mind.

In footage that has emerged on social media, Sergio is filmed shouting at the punter in Portuguese, telling him: The nest time you call me a b*****d, I’m going to rip your eyes out.
