Former Manchester United star Paul Scholes has suggested that the Reds' quadruple quest is 'still on' after Erik ten Hag's men defeated Barcelona in their Europa League play off tie.

The Reds secured a 2-1 victory over the Catalan giants in their second leg tie at Old Trafford on Thursday night, which saw them win the tie 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-2 draw in Spain last week.

United went a goal down when Robert Lewandowski converted from the spot after Bruno Fernandes had conceded a penalty, but the home side responded well and levelled through Fred.

It appeared as though the tie was edging towards extra-time, but substitute Antony scored a stunning goal to ensure the Reds' progression.
