Paul Scholes praised the link-up play between Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial but expressed concerns over what looked to be a fresh injury for the former.

Martial has returned from a frustrating spate of fitness issues with three appearances off the bench in recent weeks. The France international notched a first goal of his comeback in the 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday, slotting home a simple finish after Rashford pounced on Seamus Coleman's error.

Seeing the pair work in tandem has been rare this season, with Martial enduring long spells on the sidelines. And despite promising signs that the telepathy has remained, Rashford leaving the pitch with what looked like a groin injury will be of huge concern going into the run-in. LIVE: United v Everton reaction from win "Look, it’s great to have [Martial] back," Scholes told BT Sport. "We all know the quality he’s got, it’s just can he get through it now?

Can he get through until the end of the season? He hasn’t got a great record fitness-wise but we all know how good of a player he is.
