A North West Ambulance Service employee has been arrested after tens of thousands of pounds worth of equipment was allegedly stolen from the Etihad Stadium, the M.E.N understands.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed it was investigating 'high value theft' from Manchester City's home ground. understands works for North West Ambulance Service, has been arrested as part of the investigation. He has since been released on bail.
NWAS said it was aware of the arrest but refused to reveal whether the man had been suspended or was continuing to work. A spokesperson for GMP said: "The force is investigating high value theft from the Etihad.
