NSF plans scrabble festival in Abuja

[FILES] President of Nigeria’s Scrabble Federation Suleiman Gora (Photo credit should read PIUS UTOMI EKPEI/AFP/Getty Images)The Nigeria Scrabble Federation (NSF), on Thursday, said it has concluded arrangements to host the first National Scrabble Festival in Abuja from March 20 to 22.On the National Scrabble Festival, the NSF said all the participants are expected to arrive in Abuja on March 19, adding that the AGM will hold on March 23, while the inter-club championship will hold on March 24, with the gala night fixed for March 26.The federation said the 36 states of the country and FCT will each be represented by six players in the festival, which is a 28-round competition with winners getting cash rewards.As prelude to the series of activities, the NSF said it would lunch the Inter-Club Championship logo and the flyer for the Festival.Follow Us
