Nottingham Forest are trying to sign Southampton striker Che Adams, believes transfer insider Dean Jones. The Midlands club have been extremely busy during this window, but their business does not look to be finished yet.
According to Football Insider, Forest are in talks to sign Adams, who is also attracting interest from Leeds United. The 26-year-old joined Southampton from Birmingham City in a £15m deal three years ago.
Since then, he has gone on to make 110 appearances for the Saints, scoring 21 goals along the way. Steve Cooper has already made an incredible 12 signings this summer, including striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
However, it appears that the Forest manager wants to strengthen his forward options and squad further. Jones thinks that Forest are indeed trying to buy Adams and has told GIVEMESPORT that their plan going into this transfer window was to sign 15 players.
