For now there are no thoughts of a return to Australia with Vera Pauw's Ireland squad at this summer's World Cup, with Sarah Rowe firmly focused on establishing herself at Bohemians. After signing for A-League Women's club Melbourne Victory at the start of year, Rowe then surprised many when she joined the Dalymount Park club.

Another stop-off in a career which so far has seen the Ballina native play Gaelic football for Mayo and Aussie Rules for AFLW side Collingwood. On Saturday, Rowe was up front for Bohemians as they went down 2-0 to her former club Shelbourne in the Women's Premier Division."Shelbourne are a very classy side and they showed that today," was Rowe's summation of a game at Dalymount."They seem to be two steps ahead of everyone.

If we hadn't conceded early maybe we would have had a bit more of a chance."I was running after the ball a lot, playing striker was a different role for me.

We were very defensive today, so it was a difficult day."We wanted to get the ball in behind and that's why I kept driving my legs.
