Nicolas Kuhn has emerged as a potential January transfer target for Celtic, according to a report. The former Ajax and Bayern Munich man is currently plying his trade with Rapid Vienna and can play both as a winger and striker with Brendan Rodgers keen to boost his options.
The Hoops gaffer will be without Oh Hyeon-gyu, Hyunjun Yang and Daizen Maeda in the attacking positions with the trio called up for Asian Cup duty, but Kyogo Furuhashi will remain at Parkhead after his Japan snub.
Rodgers has made his intentions clear over recent weeks and months about adding real 'quality' additions to his ranks. The Scottish Sun stating Rapid are likely to demand at leas four times the £500,000 fee they shelled out for Kuhn 18 months ago to do business with the Scottish champions.
He has netted three goals and provided seven assists to date this campaign across 22 appearances in all competitions. His arrival would boost numbers and competition in the final third ahead of the second half of the campaign.
