Neymar handed out the medals to his Paris Saint-Germain teammates after inspiring the French giants to a 4-0 victory over Nantes in the Trophée des Champions on Sunday night.
The Brazilian superstar scored two goals as PSG won their first trophy under new manager Christophe Galtier, who replaced Mauricio Pochettino at the Parc des Princes this summer. Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos also scored two excellent goals in the rout.
But it was Neymar who stole the show at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv. The 30-year-old netted a magnificent free-kick on the stroke of half-time and then scored one of the coolest penalties we’ll see all season in the closing stages.
He also played the pass that led to Messi opening the scoring in the 22nd minute and caused Nantes’ defenders all sorts of problems during the rest of the match.
