Newcastle have asked about Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana. The skilful Ghana international is regarded as one of the brightest prospects playing in Europe and has had interest from the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Ajax.
Rennes paid £17m to sign the 20-year-old from Nordsjaelland last year and he is now valued around £30m.
