Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is liked by Newcastle United, says Sky Sports reporter Tim Thornton. The 25-year-old continues to be linked with a move to St James’ Park, though Thornton believes the price tag on his head could be a problem.
Ben Jacobs of CBS has been reporting on Newcastle’s interest in Harrison, with the journalist recently claiming that the Magpies will need to present an offer of around £35m to make Leeds even consider selling the £60,000-a-week Englishman this summer.
The above comes as no surprise given how important Harrison has been for Leeds in the Premier League since their return to the top flight a couple of years ago.
Last season, he scored eight goals in 35 top-flight games, helping Jesse Marsch’s men to beat the drop. The campaign prior, Harrison netted the same amount but also managed eight assists, making it 16 goal contributions in 36 appearances, which is quite a good return.
