Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe does not want to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook. The Magpies are one Premier League club who have been linked with the 20-year-old this summer, but Crook says he is not a player on their list at St James’ Park.
As per the MailOnline, Everton had planned to ask Chelsea about signing Broja on loan this weekend. Prior, the same outlet had suggested that Newcastle also had the Albanian on their radar and that he could cost £30m.
It comes after a bright 2021/22 campaign, where Broja managed to make 32 league appearances and score six goals while out on loan at Southampton – a big step in his development.
He now finds himself back at Chelsea, though that could change with the transfer window still open. From what Crook understands, Howe and Newcastle are actually not too keen on Broja, while the talkSPORT reporter has told GIVEMESPORT that his wages would be a problem anyway.
