Muthill squash ace Rory Stewart has rounded off his Commonwealth Games with a brilliant bronze. The former Crieff High student, who has impressed throughout the event in Birmingham, joined forces with Greg Lobban to claim the memorable medal.

The Scottish pair defeated Malaysia in straight sets on Monday to proudly take their place on the podium. They had agonisingly been edged out of a place in the final the day before, losing a nail-biter against English duo Daryl Selby and Adrian Waller.

But that disappointment was parked to ensure bronze was secured in spectacular fashion. Stewart and Lobban’s delight was clear to see when the final point was won.
