Much-loved Greater Manchester farm shop loved by Coronation Street stars amongst big winners at top awards - full list

A much-loved farm shop in Greater Manchester has had one of its homemade products named as the recipient of a Great Taste award.

The Albion Farm Shop, in Delph, Oldham, has been praised for its ‘amazing fresh, locally produced’ food by a host of Coronation Street favourites including Daniel Brocklebank and Peter Ash.

The Saddleworth cafe and shop, which sells a range of locally-sourced and homemade products including pies, cheese, pates, quiches, and meats, has now also been hailed for one of its pasties. Nearly 3,500 companies from 115 countries around the world entered the Great Taste awards this year - offering a total of 13,672 products for review, including 8,008 products from 2,528 companies in the UK.
