Video footage has captured the moment a brazen man tried to cut off a clamp from a Lamborghini using an angle grinder. The clip was filmed outside of the Ivy restaurant, on Byrom Street, Spinningfields on Thursday evening (June 15).
It shows a man crouched on the ground as he tries to remove the yellow clamp from the luxury car. Sparks can be seen flying as the electronic tool attempts to break apart the chain on the clamp, attached to a front wheel.
Manchester Council has confirmed the car was clamped following unpaid parking fines. The council website says Byrom Street has 42 pay and display bays for stays of up to two hours.
