Penyelenggaraan Asian Games 2018 ini menjadi prestasi tersendiri yang telah dinanti-nanti. Pasalnya, sudah lama sejak Indonesia pertama kali dipercaya menjadi tuan rumah Asian Games pada tahun 1962.

Asian Games 2018 dengan tema 'Energy of Asia' yang diselenggarakan di Jakarta dan Palembang ini digadang-gadang mencetak sejarah event olahraga terbesar RI.
