Megan Connolly and Louise Quinn have been ruled out of both legs of the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2025 play-off semi-final against Georgia through injury.Birmingham City defender Quinn is sidelined with a hip problem, while Lazio midfielder Connolly is nursing a hamstring injury.Despite those two absentees, manager Eileen Gleeson has opted against calling up any late replacements.Megan Campbell (ankle), Jess Ziu (knee), Ruesha Littlejohn (Achilles) and Jamie Finn (knee) had already been unavailable for selection with knocks of their own.The Girls in Green take on Georgia in Tbilisi in the first match of their double-header on Friday and then host the return leg in Tallaght next Tuesday.Goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan will link up with the squad on their return from Georgia due to being suspended for the first leg.Georgia are ranked 118th in the world, 94 places below Ireland.The countries faced each other during qualification for the 2023 World Cup.
