Tom McKibbin carded a blistering 65 at the inaugural SDC Championship in South Africa to shoot up the leaderboard before the second round was suspended due to heavy winds.The 20-year-old endured a sluggish start at St Francis Links yesterday and sat outside the cut line on four-over par, but claimed six birdies and an eagle at the par-five 13th on his way to a seven-under par round of 65. FULL LEADERBOARD The only dropped shot for the man who plays out of Holywood Golf Club came at the ninth.Of those that completed their second rounds, only Sweden's Jens Dantorp went lower (63) and McKibbin is currently in a tie for 16th, six shots adrift of France’s Julien Brun.Tournament organisers announced that no further play would take place today, with the outstanding second rounds to resume tomorrow morning no earlier than 10am Irish time.
