Max Verstappen underlines 2022 feats by scoring the most points in a single F1 season

It can't be stressed enough: Max Verstappen is enjoying a dominant Formula 1 season in 2022.

When the championship started in 1950, only the top five finishers were awarded points (8, 6, 4, 3, 2). In 1960, the sixth-placed driver received one point.
