Mattie Pollock is adamant that in-form Aberdeen won’t have any fear of Rangers. The Dons made it six wins on the bounce with victory at Ross County on Friday to strengthen their grip on third place.

The Watford loanee knows Rangers are one of the biggest teams in Scotland but he reckons Aberdeen deserve to be mentioned in the same breath.

Barry Robson’s side take on Michael Beale’s team when they head to Pittodrie on Sunday in their final fixture before the split.

Pollock said: “It is a massive game and you want to be part of these games, not just because it is a big game but we want to be competing with teams like that.
