Matthijs de Ligt's wife has posted an exciting two-word message on social media as the Netherlands international prepares for a fresh start at Manchester United.
The 25-year-old saw his move to Old Trafford rubber-stamped on Tuesday night. De Ligt, who is well-known to the United manager Erik ten Hag from their Ajax days, touched down in the UK as part of a double transfer with former Ajax and now-ex Bayern Munich teammate Noussair Mazraoui.
United paid £51.5million for De Ligt and Mazraoui to take their overall spend this summer nearer to the £150million-mark. Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee agreed their respective moves last month, and United are still in the market for further additions if they can sanction much-needed sales. He could even make his debut for United on Friday night. United get their Premier League campaign underway against Fulham at Old Trafford (8pm), and they have suffered one or two injury problems already this summer.
