Blackburn Rovers midfielder Charlie Weston has signed his maiden professional contract with the Championship side and is eyeing a continued approach of hard work to try and achieve rewards at the club.
The 17-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal which will keep him at Rovers until June 2024. He played a key role as Rovers reached the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup and secured a fifth-place finish in the U18 Premier League table last term.
The England youth international also made a handful of appearances for Mike Sheron’s Under-23s during the 2021-22 Premier League 2 campaign.
