Dutch legend Ruud Gullit believes Joshua Zirkzee made a mistake in the summer by rejecting interest from AC Milan to sign for Manchester United.
Zirkzee made a dream start to life at Old Trafford, scoring on his debut after coming off the bench against Fulham on the opening weekend of the season, but he hasn't found the back of the net since then.
The 23-year-old has linked play well at times but he has missed some big chances as well and was dropped to the bench for the Europa League draw with Porto on Thursday night, with Rasmus Hojlund making his first start of the season.
Erik ten Hag targeted Zirkzee because he can offer something different to Hojlund but the release clause in his Bologna contract also made him an attractive signing and United wrapped up a deal for £36.5m.
