The fallout continues after Manchester United were humbled by Brentford at the weekend, losing 4-0 in astonishing fashion. United's players were given Monday off having been hauled in for an unscheduled training session on Sunday.
United manager Erik ten Hag cancelled the players' day off and put them through a punishing session at the club's Carrington training complex less than 24 hours after the thrashing at Brentford.
Injured duo Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof were the only first-team squad members to report for treatment yesterday morning.
Meanwhile, United have decided to sell midfielder James Garner. The Manchester Evening News understands United value Garner, 21, between £15million and £20m and Nottingham Forest and Tottenham are interested.
