Manchester United will consider a move for Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat if there are enough funds left over from player sales.

The Reds are honing in on Rasmus Hojlund in their hunt for a striker and are confident a deal with Atalanta can be struck before the start of the season.

Part of the potential transfer is expected to be funded from player sales with more than £100m spent on Andre Onana and Mason Mount amid a summer budget of £120m More than £20m has been raised through the exits of Zidane Iqbal, Ethan Laird, Alex Telles and Anthony Elanga but more will be needed.

United have rejected a £20m offer from West Ham for Harry Maguire but the former captain is one who could be shown the door this summer.
