Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw did not take part in Manchester United's first-team training on Wednesday afternoon. Rashford limped off the pitch against Everton on Sunday and subsequent scans confirmed he is set to be unavailable 'for a few games' with a muscle injury, which means he's uncertain to recover in time to play in the FA Cup semi-final later this month.

Erik ten Hag discussed the injury at his pre-Sevilla press conference and said: "A few games, so that's the statement. I can't give more details on it because we don't know.

We'll have to see it how it develops. It's a setback and he's disappointed. ALSO READ: Manchester United without three players for Sevilla "But he's not totally broke because he will return quickly.

He's optimistic, he's started his rehab and that helps to get back soon." Ten Hag also confirmed that Shaw would be unavailable due to injury to play Sevilla.
