Christian Eriksen has praised Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes and Antony for their role in Manchester United's 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.

Although Erik ten Hag made multiple changes in defence, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Diogo Dalot starting at the City Ground, the team seemed comfortable and confident from the first whistle.

Forest are fighting to retain the Premier League status, but they struggled to threaten United throughout the first half and Antony opened the scoring in the 32nd minute when Anthony Martial's shot was parried into his direction. United were good value for their 2-0 win and Eriksen, speaking to MUTV, was unsurprisingly delighted with the performance. "In some moments, we had a lot of chances to really finish the game a lot earlier than we did, but no in general, we felt very confident," he said. "The build-up to the game was different for me, getting told I was starting right before kick-off. "It was different.
