Manchester United ‘rejected approach’ for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and more transfer deadline day rumours

Manchester United have reportedly turned down interest from West Ham for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The Reds were willing to offload the defender this summer but had failed to receive any formal offers for the Englishman, and with a shortfall of right-back options behind Diogo Dalot, Erik ten Hag revealed last week that he will stay at Old Trafford for the time being. "I have trust in him,” the United boss said of Wan-Bissaka. "What I heard and what I noticed from the past, he is a good option.

He’s been training and needs to compete for the position." Dalot is considered first choice by Ten Hag and has started all four matches this season leaving Wan-Bissaka braced for limited game time.

TalkSPORT reports that West Ham today approached United for the 24-year-old with the lure of offering more minutes, but that this was rebuffed. Meanwhile, it’s been claimed United officials have told Ten Hag not to buy any more players from Ajax. The Dutchman has signed two stars from his former club in Lisandro Martinez and Antony.
