Scott McTominay scored two dramatic stoppage time goals to spare Manchester United from another embarrassing defeat. Mathias Jensen gave the visitors the lead in the first half, with United's makeshift defence failing to deal with the threat.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana should have done better but could only get a weak hand to the ball. Casemiro was brought off at half time for Christian Eriksen but United struggled to get back in the game after the pause.

Scott McTominay thought he had scored a late equaliser but the goal was ruled offside. The game then took an incredible return with McTominay scoring twice in stoppage time to give United the three points.

The Manchester Evening News' chief United writer, Samuel Luckhurst, was in the pressbox to cover the match and here are his player ratings.
