Erik ten Hag claims Marcus Rashford enjoys playing on the right flank amid stiff competition for his place in the Manchester United side.

Alejandro Garnacho has started the last six games in Rashford's favoured role on the left and the 19-year-old has scored in the last two matches against Everton and Galatasaray.

Rashford was absent from the starting line-up in three of the last six fixtures against Newcastle, Fulham and Galatasaray due to rotation, injury and suspension.

Ten Hag accommodated Garnacho and Rashford in the same XI against Copenhagen, Luton Town and Everton, with Rashford on the right-hand side rather than in his preferred role on the opposite wing.
