Manchester United are the favourites to win the race to sign three more players as they near the announcement of Mason Mount's arrival.

United have all but secured their first signing of the summer and the signing of Mount from Chelsea is expected to be announced at any moment.

The midfielder confirmed he was leaving Chelsea on Tuesday night and has agreed a five-year deal with United. Though personal terms had been settled for some time, it took United a while to agree a fee with Chelsea but the two parties finally settled on a guaranteed £55million transfer with the possibility of an extra £5million in add-ons.

Erik ten Hag made Mount his top target to bolster his midfield options. Now that the 24-year-old has been signed, attentions can turn to other pressing areas of concern.
