The Erik ten Hag era at Manchester United is already in full swing. While it might only be pre-season, the battered Manchester United faithful are already liking what they see with Ten Hag’s side showing some very encouraging signs.
They dispatched Liverpool 4-0 in a friendly and have displayed some scintillating football in the games that have followed. Clips of Ten Hag reading the riot act to his players on the training pitch have also caught the eye, with particular footage of him laying into Zidane Iqbal doing the rounds on social media.
After years of mediocrity and false dawns, fans will be desperately hoping that Ten Hag is the man to restore former glories.
While there is obviously much work to be done, the early signs are good, with so-called ‘Ten Hag ball’ quickly capturing the imagination of United’s swathes of fans.
