Manchester United have won more matches than any other team in Europe's top five leagues this season, with the victory over Real Betis extending their lead at the top.
The Reds ran out 4-1 winners against Spanish outfit Real Betis in the first leg of their last-16 tie on Thursday night. Erik ten Hag's side enjoyed the perfect start at Old Trafford after Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the sixth minute, only for the away side to level proceedings before half time.
Despite this, United began the second period on top and soon regained their advantage. Antony grabbed his eighth goal of the campaign to make it 2-1, before Bruno Fernandes also got on the scoresheet.
The win was sealed by Wout Weghorst, who grabbed his second goal for the Reds and first at Old Trafford. ALSO READ: United can repeat Van Persie trick with massive summer transfer Having overcome Betis at Old Trafford, Ten Hag's men have now won 31 matches in all competitions this season.
