Manchester United could reportedly turn Brentford forward Ivan Toney's head after the 26-year-old was called up to the England squad for the first time in his career.
The Reds were tentatively linked with a move for the Bees frontman in the summer transfer window, but Toney remained in London and has made a strong start to the new season - scoring five goals and grabbing three assists in eight appearances so far this term.
Toney's solid form saw him rewarded with an England call-up for the Three Lions' UEFA Nations League games against Italy and Germany.
