Manchester Airport has warned of a fake account that has been impersonating them and responding to customer enquiries online.

The group announced that an account, that was reportedly impersonating the airport had been responding to and messaging customers.

Customers have been urged to look out for the blue verified tick on Twitter and to report any other account posing as the airport.

In a public tweet on Tuesday, Manchester Airport wrote: "We are aware of an account impersonating us and responding to our customers enquiries. "If you receive a message from the account in question, please do not reply.
