Manchester United are likely to make a bid to sign Real Madrid star Casemiro, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook. The Red Devils have turned their attentions to the Brazil international after their move for PSG’s Adrien Rabiot collapsed following his wage demands.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United have approached the reigning Champions League holders about the midfielder’s services.
This comes after the Old Trafford club all-but ended their interest in Rabiot due to being unable to agree on his wages. The report claims that it’s unclear whether the 30-year-old, who won his fifth European Cup against Liverpool back in May, would be interested in making the switch to the Premier League.
But he is seen as ‘more attainable’ than Barcelona ace Frenkie de Jong, who the Red Devils have been trying to sign throughout the summer window.
