Manchester United have offered transfer target Christian Eriksen ‘a good package’ to join the club, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge. The Red Devils are eager to snap up the 30-year-old, who is available on a free transfer following the expiration of his short-term contract with Brentford last month.

Eriksen’s return to football was one of the feel-good stories of 2021/22 following his distressing cardiac arrest on the pitch during Denmark’s Euro 2020 campaign last summer.

The playmaker somehow got close to reaching the peak of his powers once again after Brentford handed him a six-month deal in January, registering one goal and four assists in 11 Premier League matches.

And Eriksen’s impressive showings for the west London outfit have sparked a race for his signature, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Newcastle United all being credited with an interest.
