Manchester City have been busy this summer as they have seen a number of key players leave and five new players arrive. Deadline day saw Borussia Dortmund centre-back Manuel Akanji arrive to bolster the defence, joining Erling Haaland, Kalvin Phillips, Sergio Gomez and Stefan Ortega in signing permanently, while Julian Alvarez linked up with the Blues after spending the initial months following his January signing back at River Plate.
