Man City great Francis Lee's funeral to be held at Manchester Cathedral on Thursday

The life of Manchester City great Francis Lee will be celebrated at Manchester Cathedral on Thursday morning. Former teammates from City, Bolton, Derby, and England as well as other famous faces from the football world will join friends and family in the city centre to celebrate the life of Lee, who enjoyed great success in football and business and will long be remembered in the city.

While priority in the cathedral will be for friends, family and those unable to stand, all are welcome to the service at 10am on Thursday, with no need to wear black and floral tributes welcomed.

Any donations to The Christie - a charity close to Lee's heart - are also appreciated.
