M4 crash causes 'severe' delays of more than an hour - live updates

There are long delays on the M4 on Thursday morning after an accident near Swansea.It happened on the eastbound carriageway of the Briton Ferry Bridge between junction 42 Swansea East and junction 41 Baglan at around 7am.The vehicles involved were moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes were re-opened, but long delays remain.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix is showing queues back to junction 45 Ynysforgan with a travel time of one hour and 10 minutes at 8.15am.
