Fabinho says Manchester City are the ‘obvious favourites’ to win the Premier League ahead of Liverpool next season but believes three other clubs are also capable of challenging for the title.

Man City and Liverpool pulled well clear of their domestic rivals last season, with Pep Guardiola’s side eventually sealing their fourth title in five years on the final day of the season.

City appear in no mood to relinquish their dominance, using this summer’s transfer window to sign star striker Erling Haaland and England midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

Liverpool have also been busy bolstering Jurgen Klopp’s squad, with Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho securing moves to Anfield.
